Under the background of the new geography curriculum emphasizing the application of information technology in geography teaching with new technology to change the traditional teaching environment, digital global system as one of the most advanced teaching equipment in the information age, is widely used and studied. Now it was studied from digital global system combined with the geography teaching content based on digital global system suitability, teaching design and the effect of digital global system teaching practice, and it has made certain research results. But as a kind of new technology teaching media only used for about seven years, the current research results can not completely meet the requirements of geographical foundation education, how to play a better role of digital global system in geography classroom teaching is worth our further thinking.The research objects of this paper are ten geography classes and three different structure for the same class in senior high school which based on digital global system. The article is trying to research geography class in the high school based on digital global system from the view of cognition. Though the research methods including classroom observation, case analysis, action research and expert consultation, the paper discusses the problems, analyzes the reseasons and makes out the solutions for the digital global system resource using in high school geography classroom teaching.This paper summarizes the following main problems about using digital global system in the geography teaching in the high school. The problem is two main issues about the use of the teachers and students. The problems about the use by the teachers include the problem of teaching design of digital global system and the teaching behavior problems of using the digital global system. The high school geography teaching design problems of using digital global system mainly include the capacity of classroom teaching based on digital global system is not grasped correctly,classroom detection consciousness based on digital global system is not strong, the content presented by digital global system is not appropriate; The teaching behavior problems of using the digital global system mainly include the operation of digital global by teachers is inappropriate, the guidance of behavior of using digital global is missing, interpretation of the behavior of using digital global has some problems, the digital global system cooperated with other teaching media is not fully fined. The problems about the use by the students include the single way of using the digital global system and main collective observation, less active using the digital global system, lack of observation time and wrong order to explain. And then the main reasons responsible for these problems are analyzed,too. The spread of digital global system is limited. The consciousness of effective integration between using digital planet system and high school geography teaching is not strong. Teachers’ class design ability and teachers’ teaching implementation ability in the process of using digital global system need to improve. In view of the related questions, following suggestions are proposed: to strengthen the training of teachers to use digital global system ability, to pay attention to teaching reflection and carry out teaching practice of the high school geography classroom in the process of using digital global system.
