Family is the main place for children to receive education and the situations of different families which have different cultural capital may lead to different influences in children’s learning and development. Most previous studies focused on how family cultural capital impact students’ achievement, study habits and access to education, but little concern about the impact on the attitude of learning, especially lack of quantitative search. In this study, I quantify the institutional capital, objectified cultural capital and embodied cultural capital based on the culture reproduction theory of Bourdieu and do a detailed analysis of the relationship between family cultural capital and students’ learning attitude. In order to ensure consistency of teaching quality students accepted, this study based on a primary school in the F county of D Province and did a research of some of the students and their parents in grade two to six. The results show that: first, the family ownership of cultural capital makes a significant difference according to students with different learning attitude. Among them, objectified cultural capital and embodied cultural capital owned by the family of a high level group is significantly higher than the low group, but there is no difference between both groups in institutional capital. Second, the cultural capital of the family has a significant impact on rural pupils’ learning attitude. Of which, objectified cultural capital and embodied cultural capital make an important influence on learning attitude, while institutional capital does not. Three dimensions of learning attitude as cognition tendency, emotion tendency and behavior tendency are also affected by objectified cultural capital. And embodied cultural capital influences the emotion tendency remarkably. Based on these, I put forward three proposals: First, parents should enhance their education background to enrich the institutional capital; second, parents should improve cultural environment of family to enrich objectified capital; third, parents should pay attention to education methods in order to improve the embodied capital.
