Currently, in the study of cultural capital impact on students’ academicperformance, the cultural capital was mostly measured by institutionalized culturalcapital (the level of parents education).However, Bourdieu thought cultural capitalhave three forms: institutionalized cultural capital, objectified cultural capital andembodied cultural capital, and objectified cultural capital and embodied culturalcapital are important factors to impact academic. But their influence on studentacademic research is still relatively scarce. Bourdieu described the impact of thecultural capital of student achievement on theory, this paper according to Bourdieu’scultural capital theory to specific quantitative criteria of three forms of culturalcapital.,and explore relationship between academic research and cultural capital. Theresearch investigate a primary school of second, fourth, sixth three grades students’scores and families cultural capital owned to access to the relevant data. At lastexplore characteristic of different academic levels of students’ family possess culturalcapital and cultural capital affect students’ academic family mode of action. The studyfound: firstly, different academic achievement levels of students family culturalcapital owned there exist significant difference, and higher level of academic hasinstitutional capital, the embodied cultural capital was significantly higher than lowlevel of academic group, objectified cultural capital owned has no significantdifference. Secondly, we control parents’ occupation when analysis of relationship ofcultural capital and academic achievement and the effect on exam score. Findingssuggest that cultural capital has significant influence on pupils’ exam score; embodiedcultural capital influence on students’ test score is the highest. Thirdly, there is asignificant correlation of three forms of cultural capital. And one of the highestcorrelation is between embodied cultural capital and objectified cultural capital. Atlast, according to research finds some practical recommendations.
