Lu xun is the founder of Chinese modern literature, his rich cultural works has profound practical significance. Most of people begin to contact Lu xun through their middle school learning on Lu xun’s works,which is the national culture inheritance. With the passage of time the increase or decrease of Lu xun’s works in middle school teaching as the change of literature ideological trend and the educational thoughts.The paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the analysis of the article about Lu xun’s works from the period of the republic of China to the 21 st century, putting Lu xun’s works into a big environment to analysis mainly based on time sequence order. The second part is the sampling questionnaire survey of teacher and student refer to Lu xun’s works in middle school language teaching material compilation, aims to get the perception of teacher and student on selected Lu xun’s works.The last part is the research and teaching thoughts for some increase or decrease on Lu xun’works in textbook based on the former two parts combined with questionnaire survey.The passage of time can make our interpretation of Lu xun’s works by the different perspective. We can neither invariable inherited the old teaching mode of Lu xun’s works, nor remove the classics with the development of a new era of fast food culture. Lu xun’s works is particularly important under the environment of research of increase or decrease in textbook as well as the teaching of thinking.
