Research On The Health Management Of College Students From The Perspective Of Network Governance Theory

In the new period colleges have to face problems not only in education, teaching and scientific research, but also in college students’ health management. As well as the organization construction, health management is the weak link of management of colleges in China. As we all know, the CPC central committee and the state council always pay great attention to the healthy growth of teenagers. Nevertheless due to the development and the special national conditions of China, today’s college students’ health is less optimistic. Obesity, myopia, physical and mental diseases such as heart disease and depression are common for college students. So, health management of college students is urgently needed. College students’ health management refers to the test on college students’ psychological and physical quality, then collect, count and analysis the test data, and finally step in the students with physical or mental problems. The significance of health management is reducing the occurrence of diseases by active prevention. Also it can reduce great medical expenses for college students.This paper firstly makes clear the definition of health and health management and explains the theory of network governance. Then, taking A university as an example, applying network governance theory in the analysis of college students’ health management. According the theory, multi organizations in the network need work together to promote the development of college students’ health management. It puts higher requirement to the management of government, that the government should have good communication and coordination ability, establish risk sharing cooperation mechanism based on trust between multi organizations, also set up incentive mechanism and supervision mechanism in college students’ health management. Finally, this paper emphasizes the good communication between multi organizations based on the information sharing platform established by the government, which helps health management of college students smoothly.
