With the development of scientific progress, economic development, information technol ogy is becoming the trend of scientific and technological development, network and multimed ia as the core of information technology, are increasingly changing people’s life styles and ho w people work and Learning. Information technology in teaching the increasingly widespread. In the course of reform in the information technology and subject teaching is the key, one of the important trends is the future development of the field of education. The integration of inf ormation technology and curriculum change ideas and ways of teaching, but also changed the traditional classroom presentation, for the development of student personality, cultivating stud ents’ innovative thinking ability is important. High school physics has some logic and abstract, scientific inquiry is the main physical learning learning, new curriculum standards made it cl ear its constituent elements and implementation of inquiry link. Exploration has important im plications for high school physics learning, help students explore learning ability and improve students’ innovative thinking ability. We can provide resources for students to explore learnin g and tools to effectively optimize teaching and learning approach.In this paper, based on the content and characteristics of IT application characteristics an d high school physics electromagnetics, electromagnetism inquiry-based learning systems des ign and research. First, through the analysis of the current system and to explore the developm ent of domestic and foreign learning background learning, combined with on the basis of inte gration points electromagnetism subject knowledge and inquiry process, the design of inquiry-based learning activities, inquiry-based learning activities and objectives, elements, content c lassification, support policy analysis, put forward the overall structure of high school physics electromagnetics inquiry learning system, and support the base layer of the system, sub-syste m layer and the functional layer design. Finally, the case analysis and empirical research on th e system demand, the impact of the system on the learning process and learning technology to bring changes were analyzed and found to build out the IT support inquiry-based learning sys tem not only can meet the learning cognitive law, but also can be a very good high school phy sics electromagnetism part depth and integrate information technology. To promote the traditi onal teaching model to personalized learning and inquiry-based learning, in order to better trai n students collaboration capabilities, inquisitive mind, innovation and the ability to solve pract ical problems.
