The employment problem of university graduates that worsens increasingly attracts great attention from the government, the public and the academia. Employment problem increasingly attracted attention from the government, the public and academia. To ease the structural contradictions of college students’ employment, we need to constantly enhance graduates’ employment ability.This paper first untangles the relevant research literature about employment ability, and then put forward the analysis model of employment ability, employment achievement and employment quality based on the human capital theory, labor market search theory and the theory of labor market segmentation etc. On this basis, through the definition of employ ability skills and employment quality, we design the questionnaire and collect the relevant data. Accordingly, we go on the empirical test about the relationships of employment ability, employment achievement and employment quality. Then this paper analyzes cultivation of college students’ employment ability from the perspective of human resource management. Finally, this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions: the relevant government departments formulate policies to improve the employ ability of college students; the college strengthens students’ employment guidance; the college can design recruitment environment, simulate the recruitment site and reform the exam oriented teaching; university graduates academic design a good academic plan and cultivate their employment ability.This paper mainly adopts the method of literature research, questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method, takes the mean test for correlation analysis, establish logit regression model and multiple regression model. And it reaches the following conclusion: the graduates who is male, have the towns accounts and have served as the student cadre are more likely to get jobs; and their employment quality is higher; communication ability, problem solving ability and the team cooperation ability on employment have a significant impact on employment achievement and employment quality. The stronger this ability of the university graduates is, the more likely they can obtain employment opportunities and employment of higher quality. Based on this, this paper analyzes relevant contents of the training of College Students’ employment ability, then put forward two ways to expand students’ comprehensive quality and strengthen the training of practice ability. Finally this paper put forward policy suggestions: formulating policies on improving the employability of college students, strengthening employment guidance according to the market, the scene simulation of recruitment to reform the exam oriented teaching and the cultivating of employment ability according to academic purposes.
