The concept of cooperative learning have complex characteristics. Because different researchers fo cus their study, the definition of cooperative learning is also inconsistent. Nevertheless, they also reveal some common characteristics about cooperative learning, mainly for student learning is the main group activities; follow the principle of sub-groups within the homogeneous group heterogeneity between grou ps; emphasizes interaction and cooperation between peers; group has a certain goal-directed learning; e valuation of learning outcomes as a team overall performance as the main basis. This study attempts to t raditional teaching methods by learning two different teaching methods and cooperation on rural teachin g third grade students, by comparing the effects of two different teaching methods, explore cooperative 1 earning can significantly improve rural primary school students in math, math interest in learning and in terpersonal skills. Methods:In this study, literature study, conduct research interviews, observation, co mparison Combination of ways. After collecting the relevant data were analyzed using SPSS 19.0 treatm ent. Results:cooperative learning can significantly improve rural students in third grade mathematics ac hievement and students’interest in learning mathematics, but also can improve students’ interpersonal sk ills.
