| With the spread of the new curriculum reform in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a significant revolution has been taken place in political teaching. As frontline educators, we always search for the methods to improve effectiveness of political teaching in high school. The class teaching has been significantly promoted based on the revolution of teaching thought and concepts. However, there are a few problems. For example, student status as the main body of teaching process is ignored by teacher. The teachers focus only on imparting knowledge but neglecting improving students’ activities and realizing their feeling and values. Some teachers teaching can’t meet the requirements of the new curriculum. They mainly focus on teaching rather than the learning processes of students. They don’t stimulate the students’ enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. And they ignore the all-round development of students. As a result, the effectiveness of classroom teaching is reduced.The objective teaching is the further development of the heuristic teaching. It is accordant with the new curriculum principle and has been widely used in classroom education. The objective teaching takes the teaching target as the main line. And it insists on teacher-led and student-centered process. The objective is the aim of the classroom teaching. Prior to teaching, teachers should establish practical, scientific and reasonable teaching target according to curriculum standards and syllabus. All teaching activities thoroughly focus on the target. It is beneficial to the efficient operation of teaching activities. Teachers and students can learn from each other and teach each other. The objective teaching has the characteristics of unity, learning goal and inquiry. It meets the cognitive characteristics of high school students. And it can mobilize the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of students improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching.Donglian Modern Middle School of Erdos city Dongsheng district has been carried out the objective teaching since 2009. We have explored how to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching using objective teaching. Based on the author own teaching practice, the author discussed the connotations and characteristics of the objective teaching. The bases of the objective teaching method were also studied. Furthermore, the implementation steps and primary principles of the objective teaching method carried out in high school political teaching were given. And the problems and countermeasures of the object teaching during the implementation of political teaching in high school were given. |
