Lesson presentation is a teaching and researching activity which was originated in china and development in our country. It plays a important role in propelling the reform of new curriculum, promoting the teaching and researching quality, improving teachers’ professional ability. With the advancement of education reform, there was appeared a lot of new forms of geography teaching and researching. As a relatively mature teaching and researching activities, geography lesson presentation has spread in the whole country, throughout the teaching and study, professional title evaluation, recruitment examination, teachers’ skill competition and many other aspects. According to the related theories of lesson presentation, this paper constructed the evaluation scale of geography teachers’lesson presentation ability. Base on this evaluation scale, analysis the present situation of middle school geography teachers’lesson presentation ability, and then summed up the problems existing in the current middle school geography teachers’ lesson presentation ability and reasons, finally puts forward some strategies to promote the development of middle school geography teachers’ lesson presentation ability.The structure of this paper is mainly composed of six parts:The first part:Introduction. The content of this part mainly includes the research background and significances, summarizes the research status and relevant research achievements at home and abroad about lesson presentation and geography lesson presentation, and then briefly explains the research purpose of this paper, the main contents,basic ideas and the main methods.The second part:The related overviews of geography lesson presentation. This part mainly defines the concept of geography lesson presentation, expounds the theoretical foundation of geography lesson presentation, principles, modes and content, and put forward the measure and evaluation scale of geography lessons presentation ability based on the reference of previous research results.The third part:investigation of the current situation of middle school geography teachers’lesson presentation ability. The content of this part is based on the evaluation of geography lesson presentation ability scale, to observe and analyze the lesson presentation paper which were selected from the three big magazine of geography education and the network video of lessons presentation, then through issuing questionnaires to investigate middle school geography teachers’ability of lesson presentation, and make the data analysis, finally summed up the lesson presentation ability of the current middle school geography teachers.The fourth part:analysis and evaluation of the current situation of middle school geography teachers’ lesson presentation ability. This part summarizes the current situation of middle school geography teachers’lesson presentation ability, and detailed analyze the causes according to the status quo.The fifth part:display promotion strategies of middle school geography teachers’ lesson presentation ability and the case of lesson presentation. The content of this part mainly puts forward improvement strategies according to the existing problems of the current middle school geography teachers’ lesson presentation ability, and based on the evaluation scale table, showing high school geography lesson presentation paper from the compulsory 1 chapter two and the third section.The sixth part:conclusion and prospect. This part briefly summarizes of this paper, further sum up the deficiency of this thesis, then, puts forward the prospect of future research.
