Reading teaching is the top priority of Chinese education in primary school. It is not only a profound impact on the development of pupils’ language knowledge and ability, which restricts the development of pupils’ reading habits, but also affects the parenting of students reading emotions and reading personality. Traditional reading teaching pays too much emphasis on the accuracy of the text content and significance, focusing on the tedious analysis of the content and explanation which makes the content and significance of text into a precise, abstract concept. Those result in students’ lack of perceptual experience split the link between students and life world and restricts the spiritual growth of the students and the all-round development of personality. Under the background of new curriculum, it emphasizes students’ experience of reading and individual reading in order to cultivate students’ emotional experience and sound personality. Based on the perspective of "experience" of Chinese reading teaching in primary schools, this paper tries to provide some strategies for primary school Chinese reading teaching.The first part introduces the two reasons. The first is the harm of analytic reading teaching in China. The second is the requirement of the new curriculum reform of basic education in Chinese reading teaching. Next, this part introduces the purpose and significance of this study.The second part analyses the current content of analytic reading teaching connotation, and then explains the basic concepts and analysis of the hazards of this model. First present the concept of analytic reading teaching. Secondly, this paper expounds the basic idea of this reading teaching mode, mainly in the text, reading teaching goal, the teaching process three aspects. Finally, it analyzes the hazards of this reading teaching mode.The third part explains the basic meaning of "experience" in pedagogy, psychology and experiential reading teaching. And then it expounds the importance of "experience" in primary school Chinese reading teaching. Next, the connotation and basic concepts of experiential reading teaching are given. Finally, this part illustrated the meaning of experiential reading.The fourth part puts forward the four strategies of experiential reading, including creating teaching situations to stimulate personal experience, tasting language to enrich emotional experience, accelerating teacher-student dialogue to deepen the experience and implementing negotiated evaluation to sublimate experience.
