With the rapid development of society and economy, the conditions of education and teaching improve a lot. An increasing number of teachers who come from various disciplines begin to use multimedia teaching methods to improve their teaching condition. It is obvious that multimedia teaching methods are of great advantages in practice. Some teachers, however, face so many problems when using them that some of the positive functions don’t work or are even counterproductive.This thesis mainly studies the existing problems of multimedia teaching methods when high school teachers of the ideological and political course are using them, as well as the causes of those problems and the strategies to solve them.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts.The first part mainly expounds the characteristics and advantages of multimedia teaching methods of the ideological and political course of high school. To begin with, it expounds the overall characteristics of multimedia teaching methods of the course of high school; Secondly, it summarizes the specific advantages of them.The second part analyzes the current problems that some high school teachers of the ideological and political course face when they are making and using multimedia courseware according to the actual teaching situation and the questionnaires for students and the interviews for teachers.The third part explores some causes of problems of multimedia teaching methods when teachers of the ideological and political course of high school are using them. This part analyzes the specific causes mainly by refining and integrating the records of interviews which are made for some teachers.The last one puts forward some specific strategies which will enhance the effects of the multimedia teaching methods when the teachers of the ideological and political course of high school are using them in accordance with the previous problems.In the conclusion part of this thesis, the author summaries the basic points of the text and lists some evaluation standards of multimedia teaching methods of the ideological and political cause of high school. At the same time, it puts forward some basic principles and requirements for the use of it combined with his own understanding and some practice experience so as to make a contribution to solving the current problems of multimedia teaching methods when the teachers of the ideological and political cause of high school are using them.
