Study On Humanistic Spirit In Geography Teaching In Middle School Of China

The humanistic spirit is the human's spirit and culture accomplishment, and also be indicator of comprehensive ability of the human being. Training of humanistic spirit in geography teaching has more dominance than other disciplinary, but it has a little of attention in procession.This paper illustrated humanity, science, and humanistic spirit in middle school education and geography teaching, then refer how to penetrate humanistic spirit to geography teaching in middle school. The research is based on author's experience and thinking and other scholar's references. The conclusion is focus on following aspects. The main principles of bring humanistic spirit to middle school geography teaching are: adjusting measures to local conditions, combining humanistic spirit with scientific spirit, paying attention to processes, people oriented and opening. In middle school's humanistic spirit training, firstly, it is should be changed geography teaching materials and content according to the law of students perceiving process and disciplinary nature; Secondly, geography teachers should rising themselves' humanistic spirit and practice it in teaching courses and as example in training student. Additional, the evaluation to students should focus on their value judgment ability, critical thinking ability, social responsibility, the corporation consciousness and attitude and so on rather than the single evaluation way.Finally, teachers should pay more attention to penetrate the spirit to students in the course of teaching with historical geography education, science spirit education, national affairs education, environmental ethic education and esthetics education. Such as science conflict view, ethical pride perception, environmental sustainable view, aesthetic knowledge, field work training, indigenous sense and so on.
