Nowadays, many students have varieties of psychological barriers. Weariness is one of the most popular and hazardous problems. These students hate learning, more less learning by themselves. They often demonstrate the following characteristics:having no interest in learning, regarding learning as a kind of burden and pain, being reluctant to take part in the normal learning activities. The interaction between students makes weariness spread like the infectious disease. If it can’t be solved timely or effectively, it will influence the growing of students, but also harm the development of the whole society.The weariness of the secondary vocational students is more outstanding. Compared with the specialized coursers, the weariness of common courses of the secondary vocational students is more obvious. It will lead to some consequences; especially directly affect the quality of workers from the secondary vocational school and the development of social construction. In order to explore the root causes, the author employ the related questionnaire to master the correct situation of the secondary vocational students’weariness on common courses deeply, directly and comprehensively, mainly surveying and interviewing the students of the secondary vocational school in Xianning Vocational and Technology Collage. On the base of the status, we put forward some effective strategies to improve the learning effect of common courses.From the results of research, compared with the specialized course, the secondary vocational students preferred learn the specialized course to the common course. They thought that common course had any relation with their professional and their future works. They didn’t study hard and the result of learning was very bad. Those were not only waste the students’learning time, but also waste the school’s limited teaching resources. There are many reasons cause the phenomenon. First, the school administrators have not enough understanding of common course. They totally ignore the construction and reformation of the common course, the teaching quality of the teachers of common courses is low and they are short of teaching method. The lacks of communication between teachers and students causes the teachers don’t have confidence of students’learning. Third, students’quality is very poor, their learning attitude and method are not correct, and so on. According to the reasons, this paper puts forward some solutions. On the aspect of teaching management, we can invest a lot of money, change the set and materials. On the aspect of teacher’s management, we should improve teacher’s teaching quality. On the aspect of student’s management, we can let the students help teachers manage class. Through this experience, students can face themselves, develop themselves and exceed themselves. At last, improve their self-management.
