In recent years, there are more and more researches on effective teaching; effective teaching is also more closely combined with high school geography. However, According to the research of high school geography regularity effective teaching is so relatively rare that lead the geography regularity effective teaching is lack of guidance. The combination of the geography regularity and effective teaching is the real needs of geographical teaching reality, student’s geographic literacy training and teachers’ professional development. Therefore, through this research can enrich and deepen the theory connotation of the high school geography regularity teaching, also help to optimize the learning style of student’s geographical regularity, cultivate geographic literacy; help to improve teachers’ teaching skills of geographical regularity, optimize the teaching strategies; help to improve the efficiency of geography regularity, improve the teaching quality.This paper based on the cognitive assimilation theory, constructivist learning theory and Babanski optimization theory as the theoretical foundation, this paper analyze the geography regularity of the high school geography teaching material for PEP (People’s Education Press) compulsory 1 from the angles of overall composition, classes and forms. Than through the questionnaire survey and classroom observation to investigate the current situation of high school geography regularity effective teaching, found that there are still some problems in the teaching:Teachers’ lack of understanding of the geography regularity, the teaching philosophy obsolete; the geography regularity is lack of derivation process and the derived model is single; the geography regularity classroom contact life not closely, expanding migration is rarely; multimedia use is not enough and ignore the "three board" teaching; basic teaching form is given priority with classroom teaching, lack of outdoor practice.According to the analysis of these problems, this paper put forward the effective teaching strategies to improve the efficiency of high school geography regularity teaching. From the basic strategies include:emphasis on the derivation process of the geography regularity, to explore the combination of multiple methods; Adhere to the principle of course combine with practice teaching; effective use of modern technology to optimize multimedia applications; giving full play to the advantages of "three board", insist on graphic combination; rationally develop outside resources, extracurricular practice activities.According to the characteristics of three types of geography regularities and the form of its composition on PEP (People’s Education Press) compulsory 1 to put forward the main strategies. The key strategies of geography development regularity effective teaching include:using the multimedia auxiliary aids, creating a derive environment of geography development regularity; simulation game to make regularity teaching more activity, to inspire student’s learning interest; model demonstrates the geography development regularity of development, enrich students explore ways; simulation experiment researches to explore the regularity, improve students’ ability of explore; use the "Outline signal" schematic to clear the derivation of geography development regularity.
