The Study Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers Occupation Training Of Shanghai

On January31,2010,the State Council issued the No.1Central Document《on theStrengthening of Urban and Rural Development and Further Consolidate the Basis ofAgricultural and Rural Development》,in which first used the “new generation ofmigrant workers” formulation and incorporated into the central official documents.According to this requirements, Shanghai formulated and issued the《2013-2015migrant workers skill improvement action plan》, and put forward higher, more goalsof the new generation of migrant workers occupation training.The new generation of migrant workers have been spread all over Shanghai, theyare the main force of modern industrial workers in Shanghai, and a newly emerginglabor force of reform and opening up and industrialization，urbanization process，animportant force in the economic construction of city. However，because of theireducation level， ideology，culture quality，comprehensive quality still have someshortcomings，their jobs are restricted in Shanghai. Especially the lack of occupationskill and knowledge level limit their survival and development in Shanghai.Therefore，if the new generation of migrant workers wish to achieve the employmentand maintain stable employment, they must participate in the occupation training，improve the occupation skill and their comprehensive quality.This paper choose “The Study of the New Generation of Migrant WorkersOccupation Training of Shanghai” as the research topic，is devided into five parts. Thefirst part，introduces the purpose and significance of the new generation of migrantworkers occupation training. The second part，defines basic concepts of the newgeneration of migrant workers， for example：migrant workers，the new generationof migrant workers， occupation training，and put forward the main theoretical occupation training. The third part，introduce the number and structure of the newgeneration of migrant workers in Shanghai，point out the characteristics in the culturallevel，occupation skill level，employment idea，the life style of the new generation ofmigrant workers groups. The fourth part， analysis the current situation of the newgeneration migrant workers occupation training of Shanghai. The fifth part，aiming atthe existing problems，put forward the problems of the new generation of migrantworkers occupation training of Shanghai. And based on analysis of the reasons， putforward the solutions and suggestions.
