Geographic experiment is a kind of objective, practical and exploratory teaching activities.Under the background of curriculum reform, students abilities are cultivated with more and more attention.On the one hand, geographic experiment adapts to the requirement of the "change the way of the student learning". On the other hand, it also can give full play to the subjective initiative of students and promote students’ comprehensive and personality development. At the same time, the geographical experiment is good for teachers’ professional development and bridging the need for skills and knowledge in geography of high school. This paper mainly adopts the documentary the method, experience method, action research method to study the physical geography experiment of high school.Based on the analysis of the function of experimental teaching in geography of high school and required a textbook in geography published by people’s education and the principle of experimental teaching in geography? I propose a view aimed experimental teaching strategies in natural geography. Mainly points:simulated experimental teaching strategies in geography, model making experimental teaching strategies in geography and observable research experimental teaching strategies in geography. Aimed to provide beneficial reference on experimental teaching in natural geography.
