Mainly explained the connotation, main content, basic ideas of positive psychology.on this basis, from the development of high school ideological and political class teaching,promote the development of high school students’ mental health, and for the high schoolideological and political classroom teaching effectively in the aspects of construction of aharmonious campus need to high school ideological and political class teaching, the necessityof application of positive psychology is analyzed. And pay attention to people-oriented,respect individuality function from play and pay attention to the cultivation of the individualhappiness and so on has made the feasibility analysis of a combination of these.The third part: the problems existing in the current high school ideological and politicalclass teaching and reason analysis. This part mainly through questionnaires from five aspectsthis paper expounds the concrete problems existing in the current middle school ideologicaland political class teaching, and combining with positive psychology from the concept ofeducation and exam-oriented education, teachers’ own quality and ability, teaching evaluationand high school ideological and political factors made the analysis of the causes of problems,laid the foundation for the application of the fourth part strategy.The fourth part: positive psychology application in the high school ideological andpolitical class teaching strategy.
