Exploring The Application Path Of Positive Psychology In College Ideological And Political Education

Positive psychology emerged in the United States at the end of the 20th century.It is a new scientific study of ordinary human strengths and virtues.Positive psychology regards the development and cultivation of people's advantages as the basic concept.Realizing the flourishing and happy life is its value pursuit,and it is committed to building a positive and harmonious social organization system.This paper introduces the rise of positive psychology and its realistic background,trying to comb out the theoretical system of positive psychology from a perspective which is more closer to the overall development of students.The theoretical system mainly includes positive emotional experience theory,superiority and virtue theory,positive education theory,positive relation theory and positive-self theory.Positive psychology provides a new research perspective for college ideological and political education,and provides inspiration for further stimulating the endogenous motivation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It is necessary and feasible to explore the application of positive psychology in college ideological and political education.On the one hand,the application of positive psychology in college ideological and political education is not only conducive to promoting the positive transformation of ideological and political education concepts in colleges and universities,enhancing the affinity of ideological and political education content,but also helping to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education methods.It helps to promote the realization of individual functions of ideological and political education.On the other hand,positive psychology and college ideological and political education have many points of convergence in terms of conceptual humanistic care,complementary areas in methods,and consistency in educational goals.Based on this,this paper takes positive psychology as the starting point,and discusses the specific application path of positive psychology in college ideological and political education from the aspects of concept,content,method and approach.Firstly,the application of the concept of ideological and political education:pay attention to the positive emotional experience of students;pay attention to the shaping of students'positive personality;create a positive educational environment for schools.Secondly,the application of ideological and political education content:carry out altruistic education,cultivate altruistic behavior;carry out happiness education,cultivate happiness;carry out life education,enhance meaning;carry out emotional intelligence education,improve psychological adaptability.Thirdly,the application of ideological and political education methods:the introduction of positive experiential teaching methods;the use of positive psychological clues;and the strengthening of positive incentives.Fourthly,the application of ideological and political education:establish a positive teacher-student relationship;guide positive self-education;use developmental thinking;and stimulate positive psychological quality in an embedded way.
