The internship nurses from secondary specialized schools are an important part of the nursing team and the medical personnel. To review the current conditions of their vocational identification scientifically&objectively and explore the path for their rapider&better development actively plays a vital role in stabilizing the clinical nurse team, motivating the nurses’ enthusiasm, and promoting the career development of nurses. In the background, where the medical&health system reform is deepened and the nursing abilities&professional technical level of the medical personnel are promoted completely, people have reached the consensus on the role of vocational identification of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools in promotion of their nursing abilities and professional technical level. However, the currently prevailing vocation development mode, internship management system, internship evaluation manner, and so on for the internship nurses cannot promote their vocational development effectively. Thus, this paper tries to analyze the current conditions of vocational identification of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools in the clinical internship period before graduation to provide the practical reference for the internship nurse cultivation schools&medical institutions to establish the reasonable nursing education&cultivation mode and to optimize the connection work between teaching in schools and clinical internship in medical institutions.In this paper, the case of W School in Pudong New Area of Shanghai has been adopted to study the vocational identification level of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools in the clinical internship period before graduation in a targeted way. During the research, the author has mainly used the literature research approach, the survey research approach, and so on to complete the following research tasks.First, the author has defined the concept of "vocation identification" of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools, and described its demonstration forms from vocational cognition, vocational obedience, vocational acceptance and vocational internalization.Second, the current conditions of vocational identification of internship nurses from W School have been studied in different dimensions, with the four aspects of vocational identification as the longitudes and specific performances in the four stages of vocational identification as the latitudes, and the problems reflected have been analyzed&discussed.Third, problems appearing in the vocational identification process of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools have been concluded through analysis of the current vocational identification conditions of internship nurses from W School of Shanghai, and reasons for the low vocational identification of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools have been analyzed from the vocational environment, the school management, and the vocational preparation of internship nurses.Finally, countermeasures to promote the vocational identification level of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools have been proposed. It is hoped that the following points can be carried out:the correct policy orientation is set up in the society, the vocational positioning of internship nurses from secondary specialized schools is specified, the internship nurses are treated reasonably, and the atmosphere of understanding is created to promote the orderly development of talents; schools keep up with the guideline for vocational education development by the central government closely, pay more attention to employment&development of the internship nurses, perfect the setting of core vocational courses, including related vocational skills, professional ethics and so on for internship nurses, and strengthen the vocational career planning; meanwhile, the internship nurses are required to cultivate&promote their own profound vocational enthusiasm for the nursing cause, recognize the vocational connotation&values of nurses, and thus achieve the ultimate goal of vocational internalization.
