As college students the future of our country, hope of the nation. Thepolitical accomplishment of college students is the fundamental part ofideological and political education, which helps students to foster correct worldoutlook, the outlook on life and values, and cultivate the ideological and moralqualities. The ideological and political theory course is the main channel ofideological and political education for college students. Reception of ideologicaland political theory course means that, during teaching activities of ideologicaland political theory course, the process of the college students to reflect,understand, select and integrate information passing from the teachers through avariety of media and carriers, then they internalize the information as theirideological belief; in short, it is a process of internalize and practice. However,the recently teaching effect of the course is not ideal. The important issuesleaving for higher education to solve are, how to realize the basic task "highmoral values establishment and people cultivation" of ideological and politicaltheory class, how to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political theorycourse teaching to accept.This paper breaks through from the ideological and political theory courseteaching reception, the first part of the paper is the interpretation of relatedtheory both at home and abroad, and summary of meaning, characteristics,types and other basic issues of the ideological and political theory courseteaching in universities and colleges. Then, based on this, relationship betweenteaching and learning in the teaching process, process of gradually shift from theteaching material system to the belief system, and standard to judge the receptioneffect of the course is interpreted. Secondly, by questionnaires, the papersummaries and analyzes problems of the current college students in ideologicaland political theory course reception and affecting factors of unsatisfiedreceptions effects. Finally by enhancing college students accepting ability, improving teachers’ quality and ability, improving teaching methods, optimizingthe environment of acceptance, etc, the paper explores measures to improvereception effect of ideological and political theory teaching.
