With the popularization of higher education and the deepening of the reformof the college graduates employment system in China,the total number isincreasing year by year. Meanwhile, job actually reduces along with slowingdown of China’s economic growth rate. Employment of college students beganto appear. Employment problems of college students mainly in four aspects:the number of graduates are increasing while the employment rate aredecreasing,job satisfaction is not high employment discrimination seriously,employment showed regional differences, graduates concentrated in developedareas and employment-oriented is deviated. Our government took a series ofpolicy measures to help the college student acquire employment since2003,has made certain progress, but has not eased fundamentally the college studentemployment difficult issue of our country.College students ’ employmentproblem is caused by various factors,such as employment structuralimbalance,the supply does not match the demand, the structure and content ofschool education are not suitable to social development and so on. Employmentproblem solving not only relies on system reform of govern ment policies, willalso depend on the change in the system of school education and transformationof the graduates themselves.This article takes the college student employment problem as the objectof study, has analyzed the employment policy of college students in differentperiods of history.It studies the problems of the current graduates employment on the basis od the advantages and disadvantages of “UniformDistribution”in the Planned Economy Period,”Two-way Selection”in thePlanned and Market Economy Combined period and the “Independent ChoosingProfession”in the current.At present the employment problems of universalitystudents mainly in four fields.Firstly,the labor market is notstandardized.Secondly,sex discrimination in employment is serious. Thirdly,employment shows regional differences.Fourthly, college students employmentorientation does not meet social needs. It analyzes the root causes of thedifficult employment of college students from three levels: the social,university and individuals level.It analyzed the policy that the overseasdeveloped countries such as Japan,United States and United Kingdom haveadopted to promote college student employment rate.Then it draws on the foreignexperience to give the suggestion and comment. Finally,combined with China’sactual situation in this article, I hope to propose some measures to addressdifficulties in college students ’ employment in China such as promote theconstruction of new towns, the establishment of commercial insurance, setemployment information network platform, construction of College StudentsPioneer Park, preparing employment patterns and order training, collegestudents working overseas, etc.Solving the China’s current employment problems of university studentsis beneficial to the community.
