Combining with some experts’ research results on each course resources’ exploitationand utilization, the author elaborates on the general concepts of curriculum resources,curriculum resources of Ideological and Political Course in middle schools and localcurriculum resources. Then, through investigating the possession of Ideological andPolitical Course’s resources in L County, the author lists some available curriculumresources, such as local human remains, traditional customs, distinctive culture and art,folk legends and so on. Besides, according to the investigation of the local curriculumresources in each middle school and the analysis of the questionnaires and interviews doneby some middle schools’ headmasters, teachers and students, the author generalizes someproblems in the aspects of policies, systems and implementation that local middle schoolshas on the exploitation and utilization of this course’s resources. Afterwards, the authorproposes some corresponding principles on exploiting and using the Ideological andPolitical Course’s resources in L County, which are based on the resolving of some relatedproblems and on the course’s special properties and characteristics. Finally, with regard tothe procedures and methods of exploiting and using the Ideological and Political Course’sresources in middle schools, the author presents some views on the basis of the actualsituation of the course’s resources in L County. The author hopes that the proposals andviews he puts forward are useful to improve the teaching efficiency and reach thecurriculum objectives of Ideological and Political Course in L County.
