With the continuous advance of the new curriculum reform,a growing number ofeducators begin to pay attention to the local curriculum resources in recent years and itgradually rises. The local curriculum resources have a strong regional and localcharacteristic of the reality. It is true,easily accessible,reliable and very rich. If highschool ideological and political teaching uses the local curriculum resources of closerelationship with the students, teaching the materials based purely theoreticalknowledge in real life,comes from life and returns to life,teaching is undoubtedly themost real and effective.This article is divided into four parts:Firstly it analysis of the concept andcharacteristics of the local curriculum resources;Secondly it elaborates the significanceof the local curriculum resources applied in high school ideological and politicalteaching by three aspects of the teaching objectives,teaching content and teachingmethods;and then on the basis of the survey visit of the school leadership,teachers andstudents,it discusses the present situation and the reasons about local curriculumresources in teaching applications of M High School,points out the achievements,experiences and deficiencies;Finally,it analysis of the case about local curriculumresources applied in high school ideological and political ideal teaching situations,andM High School ideological and political teaching cases showing a reasonable andeffective application of Minhang local curriculum resources. It gives a positiveevaluation.
