Curriculum resources is a bright spot in the Basic Education Curriculum Reform of Chinain2001, and also a new challenge we face currently. The development and utilization ofcurriculum resources is an important guarantee for the implementation of the new curriculum.Whether the new curriculum reform can proceed smoothly largely depends on the degree ofrichness and level of development and utilization of curriculum resources.Our great motherland has a long history, splendid culture, and in every place thehistorical and cultural resources are very rich, which has an irreplaceable educational function.However, due to the previously highly centralized course management system and thetraditional concept of curriculum resources, the rich history of Native curriculum resourceshas been neglected and idle. Furthermore, the students feel the traditional high school historyclass rather boring, one important reason is that history is too far away from the students’ reallife, and even there is a deep gap between students and history. Luckily, the history of Nativecurriculum resources can make up for this deficiency.In this paper, by means of literature research and survey interviews, the writer introducedthe theory related to the history of local curriculum resources, the status of Weifang localcurriculum resources development and utilization, analyzed the problems, and proposed somesolutions and ideas to these problems based on her own teaching practice, hoping to help thecolleagues.This article mainly consists of five parts:Part Ⅰ: To introduce the background of the problems, the research status both at homeand abroad, and the ideas and methods of this studyPart Ⅱ: To introduce the native history curriculum resources and its significance ofdevelopment and utilization in WeifangPart Ⅲ: Through survey interviews, to elaborate the problems in the development andutilization of local history curriculum resources of in secondary schools in WeifangPart Ⅳ: to elaborate the way of the development and utilization of local historycurriculum resources, based on the writers’ own teaching practicePart Ⅴ: to propose some countermeasures and ideas...
