The study of Chinese culture and classics belong to the category of research of academic discourse of cultural, which is the fifth series of high school elective course. And it is one of the unified high school Chinese elective course of Hunan province. The scientific and reasonable arrangement of the study of Chinese culture and classics, not only improved the language literacy of high school students, but also sound comprehensive quality of senior high school students, which is the lifelong development of students. How to fully implement this course in the teaching practice, effectively improve Chinese accomplishment of students, enrich their culture, expanding humanistic perspective of students, need every educators to study and explore. This paper attempts to study based on experiences and insights from teaching practice of the study of Chinese culture and classics. Combined with the theory of curriculum and education, we research from multiple perspectives on the teaching of the curriculum practice, to explore more scientific and reasonable method, so as to achieve more efficient teaching effect. It can be summarized as follows.First of all, teachers should carry out certain analysis on the course of the study of Chinese culture and classics from three aspects. They are the content, value and goal. Teachers should also have the ability to grasp the whole characteristic of the elective course, to develop a more reasonable teaching plan, combined with the actual situation of students to design more effective instructional programs. In this paper, through literature research method, detailed and accurate grasp of the course of the study of Chinese culture and classics, which aims to more scientific, detailed analysis of the content, value and target of the course.Secondly, by means of survey and interview, we can objectively and comprehensively understand the status of the study of Chinese culture and classics course, and explore its causes. Teachers should constantly find and induction course in the teaching practice, and to analyze the causes of the problems deeply. Because the discovery and analysis problem is the prerequisite of solving the problem. Only in this way can we better make an antidote against the disease, effectively improve the teaching status of the course of Chinese culture and classics study.Thirdly, combining with teaching practice to study the teaching requirements and teaching methods of the course of the Chinese culture and classics study. This part adopts the case analysis method, based on the analysis of teaching case of the elective course of Chinese culture and classics, and gradually clear:to let the elective courses to be efficient development, it needs to meet certain requirements of teaching. For example:it needs to guarantee the teaching time, improves the quality of teachers, changes the teaching way and enriches the evaluation system. In the teaching process, the language sense teaching method, aesthetic teaching, dialogue teaching, activity teaching method can effectively arouse the students’ interest, and improve the teaching effect.Finally, after a round of teaching practice from the course of Chinese culture and classics study, The author makes some reflections on the teaching from the three aspects of time, content, strategy. And some suggestions are put forward, which is beneficial to the further improvement of the teaching of this course.
