As the economic system reform develops, our county’s economy achievedunprecedented development; the living standard and cultural life of the people areimproving in recent years. The life of residents in the town has reached a well-off life. Butthere are always have a part of people, the living standard of them is always below thepoverty line and must solved their existential problems, relying on the subsistenceallowances. There exist many problems in them, such as the difficult home life, low socialrank, poor spirit, the problem of family education. Although the subsistence securitysystem is already better. But the main issue is resolving their economic life not theirspiritual life. There are many children in these families, though they are included in therescue, but they don’t get the direct welfare, especially spiritual assistance. The childrenare labeled on low-income family. One side they live in poor conditions lead tomalnutrition and poor physical quality. The other side on spiritual aspect, they are havingpoor interpersonal skills, and easy to inferiority, lack of self-confidence, they are havingno courage to play with others. Seriously they will have negative feelings and appearbehavioral biases.The social work mainly services for vulnerable groups by using professional methods,helping people help themselves. Be aimed at solving the self-contempt and self-confidence of children from urban families with low subsistence allowances. This paperfocuses on the existential problem of the self-contempt and self-confidence of them.Analysis of the importance of professional social work methods in the minimal assurancefamily children’s self-confidence of minimal assurance family.This paper is based onbandura’s social learning theory and social support network theory, use the groupactivity,keep track of and evaluate the group activity, and in the last part the authors makesome policy suggestions. The point is help the children eliminate inferiority and improveself-confident by using the social work method, and start to gain momentum ininterpersonal interaction and study, to help them have a healthy and happy life.
