With China’s higher education transitions from elite to mass, the employment situation of college graduates is getting worse. In the same way, the vocational students with technology or skills are also facing a severe test on employment. A Comprehensive analysis shows that in addition to the external factors such as enrollment expansion of colleges, changes in employment requirements, etc., there is also a crucial factor in the deficiency of professional accomplishment education and occupational guidance by higher vocational colleges.This paper mainly discusses how to improve professional accomplishment education on higher vocational students from the perspective of ideological and political education, thoroughly analyses all aspects of the problem of higher vocational students’professional accomplishment education. Firstly study the connotation of professional accomplishment education and ideological and political education on higher vocational students, analyze relationship between professional accomplishment education and ideological and political education. Secondly, adopt empirical research methods such as questionnaire, interview etc., and focus on the current situation, problems and the reasons of higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment education. For an example, due to the influence such as a week knowledge foundation, dislocation of the social and education main body, the traditional education concept of "Ability standard", present situation of higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment is not optimistic and professional accomplishment education also in a state of inefficiency. Thirdly in view of the above problems, on the basis of an analytic combination of conditionality of current situation which higher vocational students’ ideological and political education impact on its professionalism education as well as part of successful practice cases combining ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges with professional accomplishment education, explore ways to improve higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment education via ideological and political education. Those are as follows, by updating ideas to strengthen the coordination of ideological and political education and professional education, by combining the ideological and political education to enrich and strengthen the education contents for higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment as well as to reconstruct the course system of higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment education, by adopting the carrier of ideological and political education to set up a platform for improving students’ professional accomplishment. Actively expand a new professional cooperation of university-enterprise, strengthen the team construction of higher vocational students’ professional accomplishment education and set up a systemmechanism of assessing vocational students’ professional accomplishment with seven ways, improve students’ professional accomplishment education, continuouslystrengthen students’ professional accomplishment and core competitiveness of employment, so as to promote the all-round development of students.
