A Research On Learning-Plan-Teaching Model In Teaching Of Classic Chinese In Senior Middle School

To remove the shortcomings of traditional teaching and adapt to the trend of teachingreforms, many new teaching models have sprung up, which not only keep the strengths ofold ones but all have their characteristics, reflecting the new theories and ideas. Greatimportance is attached to students’ position and thus both teachers’ and students’development is achieved.Since November in2011, when our school learned from Xin Jiang Senior MiddleSchool in Shanxi Province, this Learning-Plan-Teaching Model has been carried out in ourschool and much progress has been made. This new model is suitable for teaching ofChinese, and classic Chinese in particular. In recent years many related articles and workshave come out but many of them only focus on the general introduction to the new modeland how it’s carried out or how it’s carried out in some subject, while there are fewresearches on problems and solutions when this model is put into practice. The authorintends to combine this model with teaching of classical Chinese, analyze both advantagesand disadvantages of this new model, basing on the problems lying in traditional teachingof classical Chinese and offer possible solutions to problems. In this research manymethods are used, such as methods of documentation, comparison, survey, interviewingand case study.This research consists of three parts.Part one is theories related toLearning-Plan-Teaching model, its basic features and the necessity of carrying it out. Parttwo is the introduction to this new model and how it is practically used. Part three ispractice and reflection on the application of this model in teaching classical Chinese in ahigh school.
