Historical story is an essential part in Junior High history teaching. It can not onlymake the history class more attractive and interesting but also provide a memory carrierfor the students to review history knowledge. It can also help to build a good outlook onlife, value and the world. As the time for history class is limited, this paper presents anew idea of micro historical story to ensure a maximum efficacy.This paper consists of three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.The introduction part starts with background research. It mainly tells about thepresent situation of the micro historical story use in history teaching and it also talksabout the research method and the significance of the research.The body part is divided into four chapters.Chapter One is about the connotation of micro historical story and the selectingprinciple, which means we should follow the scientific, interesting, targeted and criticalprinciple. It explained every principle in detail.Chapter Two is about the application principle and application method of microhistorical story, application principle includes teacher leadership principle,students-orientation, preferential admission. The application method part includes theclassification of application method, the application occasion and ways of teachingactivities.Chapter Three is about the application and exploration of micro historical story inJunior High teaching practice. To begin with, it analyzes the advantages of microhistorical story in Junior High teaching practice. Then it showed us the example of TheFrench Revolution and Napoleon’s Empire so as to analyze the feasibility and problemsof the application of micro historical story.Chapter Four is about the role of micro historical story in realizing the course goals,including knowledge goal, ability goal and emotional goal.The conclusion part realized the theory promotion. In spite of some weakness, themicro historical story provides us a new approach to Junior High history teaching. Whatelse, it helps Junior High students improve historical thinking ability and form correctvalues.
