With the implementation of the new curriculum in China,how to improve the effectiveness of students' learning in the classroom,how to carry out more scientific teaching reform,is the focus of attention of the educational circles,but also the focus of teaching.History has its unique nature.The application of stories in teaching is also its teaching advantage.History teaching can not be separated from story explaining.As an indispensable teaching material in the classroom,stories not only contain profound cxiltural and historical information,but also easily stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in starting learning and inspire students to explore and discover history.This paper is based on the application of historical stories in classroom,through literature,case analysis,observation and interview,questionnaire survey.Through the research,it is found that historical stories are interesting,educational,pertinent and complexity.Through the analysis of the frequency,timing and effect of the teaching of historical stories,we find that there are some problems in the teaching of historical stories,such as the insufficient frequency of the use of historical stories,the narrow source of historical stories,the backward teaching methods and the lack of teaching functions.It also discusses the strategies of developing historical stories in teaching,and clarifies the principles of selecting historical stories,the timing of using them,create a historical context and stimulate problem awareness and the requirements for teachers'professional qualities.Finally,through the teaching examples of the historical stories of The rise and fall of the Qin Dynasty,Tang Taizong and Zhenguan's Governance,World War ? and War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea,First Opium War,this paper makes an example analysis of the introduction,process,key and difficult links an,the end links and historical stories inspire problem awareness.
