The report of the18th CPC National Congress first put forward the new "five-in-one" layout, which points out that construction of ecological civilization plays an important role in people’s well-being and the nation’s long-term strategy. And it clearly puts forward "to strengthen the propaganda of ecological civilization". Undergraduate students are the main force of the future society construction, so their ecological ethics quality and level has a significant impact on the development of environmental protection and social mode of production in the future. Therefore, to strengthen research on undergraduate students’ ecological ethics education has both the important theoretical value and practical significance.Based on the literature review of domestic and overseas researches on ecological ethics education, the author conduct the research on ecological and ethics education of undergraduate students using a combination methods of theoretical research and empirical research. The author organize the basic connotation of ecology ethics education of undergraduate students, and makes it clear that ecology ethics education of undergraduate students includes such as education of ecology and ecology ethics knowledge, education of ecology ethics awareness, education of ecology ethics, education of ecology ethics formation, based on Marxist ecology ideology, Chinese traditional ecology ethics culture and Western ideology of ecology ethics. Taking Dalian University of Technology undergraduate undergraduates as the research object, the author makes a general descriptive analysis of the dimensions and overall situation of undergraduate students’ecological ethics, and analysis the difference on the dimensions and overall situation of ecological ethics using different variables. The result shows that the overall situation of undergraduate students’ecological ethics is good. They have gained some understanding of ecological and ecological ethics knowledge, but the ecological ethics consciousness is awakening but lack of sense of crisis; The ecological ethics feelings is quite strong but easy to fluctuate; Ecological ethics behavior is self-disciplined but the initiative is not enough. Undergraduate students of different genders, grades, politics status and majors show difference in the aspects of ecological ethics, but we lack of enough understanding to carry out the matching education treatments. In order to improve ecological ethics quality of the contemporary undergraduate students, the author points out that we need to expand ecological ethics knowledge transmission channel, to strengthen the cultivation of undergraduate students’ecological ethics emotion, to strengthen undergraduate students’ecological ethics behavior guidance and to strengthen the education countermeasures of independent building of undergraduate students’ecological ethics. The research on ecological ethics education of undergraduate students enriches the research contents of undergraduate students’ethics education. The conclusions and suggestions from this research provide certain reference for improving undergraduate students’ecological ethics quality, and have a certain guiding value to practical work.
