Research On The Correlation Of Parents’ Anxiety And Adaptment Of Children

Kindergarten is the starting point of children from families to society. During the process of adaptation,-children’s original life mode is changed. Due to this change, their parents will be in a state of anxiety. Using the questionnaire survey,this study discusses the relationship between parents’anxiety and the adaptment of children. Researcher first discusses the adaptment of children and parents’anxiety in different time respectively, then analyzes the relationship between them, and put forward some educational suggestions based on the results of this study.This study selected134children which started kindergarten in2014of a demonstration garden in Tianjin as the research object, investigating with Children’s Adaptment of Kindergarten To Teacher Questionnarre and State-trait Anxiety Scale To Parents Questionnaire, using SPSS17.0analysis the data, the results showed that:1. The adaptment of children is below the average level in earlier period and above the average level in later period. The adaptation level in the late is significantly higher than that in the early. Different gender in two periods of adaptation are of no significant difference.2. In earlier period, mothers’ state anxiety level is significantly higher than fathers’, parents’ trait anxiety level have no significant difference. In later period there is no significant difference between fathers and mothers of state anxiety and trait anxiety. The state anxiety level of earlier period is significantly higher than that of later period for fathers as well as for mothers. There is no significant difference of trait anxiety for parents in different period.3. In earlier period, there are significantly negative correlation between parents’ state anxiety and life skills,emotional stability,interpersonal relationships, abide by the rules,learning activities and the total score of adaption.In later period, state-trait anxiety and five dimensions are not significantly related.4.1n earlier period, for low adaption children, there are significant negative correlation between adaptment and fathers’state-trait anxiety. The same to mothers’ state anxiery. There are no significant correlation between adaptment and mothers’ trait anxiety. For the intermediate children, there are significant negative correlation between adaptment and mothers state anxiety. There are no significant correlation between adaptment and fathers’ state anxiety. The same to parents’ traits anxiety.For the high adaption children, there are no significant correlation between adaptment and parents’ state-trait anxiety.5.1n later peroid, for low adaption children, there are significant negative correlation between adaptment and mothers’ state anxiety. There are no significant correlation between adaptment and fathers’ state anxiety. The same to parents’ trait anxiety. For the rest, there are no significant correlation between adaptment and parents state-trait anxiety.6.1n earlier period, there are significant differences between parents’ state-trait anxiety of different group. In later period,there are no significant difference between parents’state-trait anxiety of different group.
