Case teaching method was originally rise in the Harvard business school in the United States.Because of its unique way and effect of teaching, case teaching method is widely used in variousbranches teaching of the common law countries as a new way of teaching, it becomes one of themost main in western various branches teaching methods. Due to abandon the pure theoreticalknowledge teaching and preaching in the traditional teaching, integrate theory knowledge andpractice ability training, and to enhance the students’ ability of theory with practice, the caseteaching method in subject teaching of our county is gradually favored by teachers and students.In recent years, as the case teaching method is widely used in various disciplines teachingand its increasingly highlight effect in the teaching, our moral education in colleges anduniversities teaching also began to explore the use of case teaching method, in order to use theform of analysis and discussion, to outstanding the dominant position of students in the moraleducation curriculum and the character position of teachers as organizers, guiders andimplementers, through the interaction between teachers and students. In this paper, the authorstudies on teaching in the colleges and universities is mainly refers to the colleges anduniversities of undergraduate course paragraph the teaching that college students to cultivate thestudents’ moral quality. According to the shandong normal university undergraduate courseparagraph the use that case teaching method in moral education class teaching situation hascarried on the investigation and study. The author finds that the case teaching method can closeto moral education, combining the principle and concreteness of moral, linking the abstractmoral theory and the vivid moral practice. Its help to promote the transformation of the collegestudents’moral education theory to practice, to improve college students’moral quality andmoral education in colleges and universities teaching effectiveness it plays an important role. Inthis paper, through a line of Shandong normal university moral education teacher, moraleducation workers for interviews and questionnaire survey of students, to have the understanding and analysis of the current moral education in colleges and universities current situation ofapplying case teaching method in the course. The author found although the use of case teachingmethod to the moral education in colleges and universities teaching course has brought thecertain effect, but in the process of reference and use of case teaching method is graduallyshowing some problems. To solve these problems, the author of this paper has carried on theanalysis, attribution and discussion, then put forward the corresponding countermeasures to theeffective use of case teaching method in moral education in colleges and universities teaching.This paper contains four parts totally.The part one general overview of the case teaching method. First of all introduces the caseteaching method in the history of Chinese and western origin, then emphatically defindon thecase and case method, and by comparing to the distinction between the case teaching relatedconcepts are introduced with the example of teaching, case teaching method example teachingmethod and the difference between the case teaching method.The second part discusses the the necessity and feasibility of case teaching method in usingthe moral education in colleges and universities. From will help promote the charm of moraleducation, helps to strengthen the moral education actual effect, in favor of the play to the moraleducation work, is helpful to establish the moral education of belief and in favor of theimplementation of moral education practice five aspects elaborated the case teaching method inthe necessity of using in the teaching of moral education in colleges and universities; And due tothe importance of case teaching in our country, the understanding of case teaching and use is alsogradually deepened, to use case teaching method in teaching of moral education in universitiesprovides the feasibility.The third part through a line in the Shandong normal university moral education courseteaching of teachers in the form of interviews and questionnaire surveys among students in, thecurrent moral education in colleges and universities has been conducted for the use of casemethod of teaching present situation investigation. To use case teaching method in the process ofteaching concept deviation, screening to utilitarian teaching objects, teaching contents, rough,improper teaching classroom organization and teaching evaluation problem such as lag hascarried on the induction summary, and from inside and outside two dimensions for the existingproblems are analyzed in attribution. The fourth part, according to the theory of case teaching method in classroom teaching inthe colleges and universities, the problems from the teaching idea, teaching goal, teachingcontent, teaching organization process selection and teaching evaluation in five aspects putforward the corresponding countermeasures, in order to make the use of case teaching method inteaching of moral education in colleges and universities play a greater effectiveness.
