In recent years, with the development of quality education, moreand more people are concerned about the students’ growth.One-to-one education appeared in the end of last century, it combinedour oriented education with individualized education and developedrapidly in China. It was different from our traditional collectiveeducation. Not only concerned about students’ achievements, butalso paid more attention to students’ growth. This essay was made onthe basis of theoretical researches and some actual teaching cases,and was analyzed from different aspects, for example: it’s educationalphilosophy, theoretical foundation, teachers, students and teachingprocess. During teaching process, teachers will use MultipleIntelligence Theory to make a unique teaching program for everystudent on the condition of their different circumstances, and choosedifferent teaching methods. And then, every student will have aprofessional team of different teachers, they will help him when he isin trouble and tell him how to learn better, especially his head master.All of these can remedy the deficiencies of our collective education.According these, we could see there are lots of advantages, forexample it’s advanced educational philosophy, different teachingmethods, effective psychological guidance and one on one full service.But there are also some disadvantages in one-to-one education. At the end of this essay, writer also comes up with some suggestions onone-to-one education and our school education, and hope what wasdiscussed in this essay could help us to develop our educationaltheories and Teaching practice. From the point of development ofone-to-one education, it should establish appropriate managementsystems for teachers and students, as well as multiple evaluationsystem and security system to ensure the efficiency and quality ofteaching; for school, they should learn from one-to-one education, paymore attention to the growth of students, and encourage them to takepart in teaching activities. Besides, they should establish a widerange of teaching evaluation system and a good teacher-studentrelationship to improve school education.There are four main parts in my essay:The fist part: Preface. It includes something about my reasons tochoose this topic, it’s purpose, meaning and methods of research.And I will make some definition of concept.The second part: I will describe the state of One-to-one education,including it’s educational philosophy, theoretical foundation, basicstructure and teaching process, and then analyze some actualteaching casesThe third part: to describe advantages and disadvantages of Oneto one educationThe last part: to give some suggestions to the development ofOne-to-one education and our traditional school.
