The Testing Research Of Chinese College Entrance Examination (PAT7.4) In Thailand

In1992the Chinese firstly had equal status with other foreign language, which is an important turning point in modern Chinese education development of Thailand. On1997, Chinese class has come into Thailand high school language class and then Thailand Ministry of Education announced, Chinese has become one of the college entrance English examination subjects; Because at present there is some problem at middle school Chinese teaching in Thai such as no unified syllabus, textbooks, teachers level is not same. and the Chinese college entrance examination have greater difficulty, the many candidates feel at a loss in the coping of college entrance examination in Chinese, so the result is not ideal. This study take Thailand Chinese college entrance examination PAT7.4as the object, using statistical analysis of research methods, starting from the test papers analysis for its examination nature, types of questions and the test knowledge. we found in the study of problems that PAT7.4is a test about Chinese language proficiency, and not test it named in its name potential and aptitude tests. It is essentially a horizontal test. Secondly, the study found the ten aspects of the test questions change and seven test knowledge, summed up the Thai Chinese college entrance examination PAT7.4the test language ability test range through analysis on the types of test questions and knowledge, combining theory and practice, with the research methods of questionnaire survey and, observation, combined with the typical survey the author teaches Thailand Cheng Yi Prefecture girls high school Chinese teaching and students to deal with test problems analysis of the teaching strategy in response to the examination. Currently in Thailand to learn the number of Chinese gradually increased, PAT7.4exam, though there are some beyond the current situation of practical teaching in Chinese teaching in Thailand local, but through the analysis believes that PAT7.4belongs to an investigation of language proficiency level examinations, the grammar of the test Chinese learners can force, discourse competence and pragmatic competence of language ability are related to, it’s a way suitable as the university entrance exam ability to choose student for Chinese professional class.
