Analysis Of Errors In Solving Questions Of Thai Students In PAT7.4 Grammar Test Of College Entrance Examination

The Ministry of Education of Thailand launched the PAT7.4 Chinese College Entrance Examination to evaluate students' Chinese proficiency and ability,and to provide a basis for the selection of Chinese language-related professionals in Thai institutions of higher learning.Since the establishment of the exam,student scores have generally been low.Therefore,in order to improve students' Chinese college entrance examination scores,Thailand's PAT7.4 Chinese college entrance examinations are used as the main material and main source for this research to study the grammatical errors of Thailand's PAT7.4Chinese college entrance examination papers,and to propose the feasibility recommendations and strategies by selecting five test papers from 2017 to 2020 for study.First,the thesis introduces the basic situation of Thailand's PAT7.4 Chinese college entrance examination,sorts out and analyzes the PAT7.4 Chinese college entrance examination papers over the years,and summarizes the grammar points of the test papers.Secondly,the author provides 30 students from Wichienmatu School test paper survey.Then the author analyzes results of statistical analysis of test paper,combined with previous test paper analysis results,classify grammatical errors into four types of errors;word order error,mis-generation error,omission error,and error-added error,and analyze the resulting bias.The reasons for the errors are explained in terms of language and teaching.Finally,specific opinions are provided from two aspects:suggestions for students' Chinese grammar learning and teachers' Chinese grammar teaching suggestions for the above-mentioned errors and the reasons for the errors and suggestions.
