Now General Basketball Course of Physical Education is the backbone of professional courses in Jilin Province, how scientific and reasonable arrange the teaching content system in basketball general courses is crucial to achieve the goal of education Physical Training and Physical Education Specialty Construction. Over the years, due to the change of Physical Education curriculum, and technical courses decreased, Basketball Education General Course of teaching has also been a considerable impact, the contents of the teaching model of basketball courses, and basketball general courses are in need of reform and innovation. Originally continuation of years of teaching courses and teaching model has restricted college basketball teaching, competition, promotion and other work,it also affects the students’training.For the status quo of Basketball Compulsory Course in Jilin education, how to make compulsory course of basketball teaching in colleges and universities more responsive to the actual situation of contemporary college students, let compulsory course of basketball truly enhance the physical fitness of students, improve student,health, develop their Lifelong Sport Consciousness, fully promote quality education of physical education curriculum, is the top urgent problem to carry out Basketball Compulsory Course in colleges. And basketball course as one of the most important sports general course in JILIN province, how to make it abut students’ needs in their growth and development, carry forward its charm and characteristics is very important. Curriculum Reform and Quality Curriculum about compulsory course of basketball is an important issue in the future development of JILIN college sports education.Here are my research conclusions:(1)At present,the curriculum standards and syllabus of basketball compulsory course in JILIN colleges is basic perfect. (2) In the distribution of basketball teaching periods, there is no big disparity among all universities. (3)The allocation of teaching difficulties in each university has different characteristics. (4)The achievement assessment and evaluation system of basketball curriculum in JILIN College Physical Education Teaching is scientific and reasonable.Here are my advices for optimization:(1)Integrate the syllabus of college basketball course in JILIN Province, allocate teaching hours scientifically, adjust the setting of basketball programs reasonably and duly. (2) Evaluate the professional quality of students and the overall level of Jilin University Physical Education accurately, delve into the internal and external environmental factors about basketball teaching, optimize the overall level of basketball teaching constantly, establish a ladder type hierarchy teaching guidance system, and improve students’ physical and mental development and basketball ability. (3)Establish and improve the Jilin College Basketball General Course on a comprehensive, scientific and objective assessment and evaluation system, and strive to build a"trinity"of college basketball course evaluation system.
