In the 21 st century, there is a growing emphasis on the integration of information technology and physical education. Many papers focus on the integration of teaching mode, which has been studied extensively, while relative study on teaching practice is relatively less. In fact, teaching practice, namely, integration of information technology and physics teaching is very important. This paper focuses on the practice of this integration.This paper analyzes the concept, significance and development of the integration of information technology and physics teaching, and practically studies the integration of information technology and middle school physics teaching. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the concept, background and significance of integration of information technology and physics teaching. The second part describes the objectives and principles of the integration, and its theoretical basis. The third part gives some actual cases of integration, which originates from high school physics teaching, including difficulties in textbooks and exercises and curriculum design. The fourth part assesses and summarizes the effects of practice of the integration,including its successes and shortcomings, which should be noticed in later practice of integration.
