In this context, physical education teachers in Colleges and universities for their knowledge update, supplement and extension, and constantly improve their own knowledge structure, it is helpful to improve the innovation ability and the professional technology level, so as to better accomplish the task of teaching, can make the best teachers foundation and support, all teachers need to continue continuing education to complete. Therefore, physical education teachers in Colleges and universities of Nanchang City continuing education present situation investigation and countermeasure research, find out the advantages and disadvantages, to provide a theoretical reference for the professional development of PE teachers in Colleges and universities.In order to better carry out of College PE teachers in Nanchang city continues to accelerate the progress of continuing education, continuing education of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities of Jiangxi Province, the scientific research method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, the use of literature, made a profound investigation on the status of continuous education of PE teachers in Colleges and universities Nanchang City: research and analysis of the situation of college physical education teachers Nanchang City teachers; teachers’ views on continuing education; continuing education of teachers in the influence factors; teachers to participate in continuing education practice; teacher continuing education reflect the overall effect of. Found the main problems of continuing education of PE teachers in Nanchang City, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures. The conclusion is:(1) The teachers of physical education teachers, age structure is relatively reasonable, the title structure is not reasonable, the academic structure toward the good trend of development, teachers’ workload.(2) The understanding of continuing education, only a few people have realized the necessity of continuing education, understand the relevant policies and regulations, China’s continuing education are also not enough.(3) To participate in continuing education funding, is still not perfect financing problems, there are a series of problems need to be clear.(4) To participate in continuing education time schedule, arrange the most reasonable time of continuing education.(5) To participate in continuing education form, style, there is a gap between the expectation and the status quo, should as far as possible according to the expectation for continuing education in the form and manner.(6) The content of the continuing education, comprehensive content and poorly targeted, practical and systematic comprehensive and targeted for a good point, leading only the content of good.
