Developing rural education and rural schools,the key is the stability and development of rural teachers. The ’special post teacher plan’first experimented in the west of china in 2006,then expanded to several middle provinces in 2009,including Henan Province. During the past eight years, the ’special post teacher Plan’ on the one hand help solve the college graduates’working pressure,on the other hand provide adequate and stable teachers for rural education which is more importantly, In this study, I choose five special post teachers as the main object who come form C middle school located in country P,Henan Province. At the same time do the school leader, teachers, and excellent special post teacher Chen who work in another school as reference for this research,which use qualitative research methods, by observation and in-depth interviews to understand the special post teachers’idea in self-positioning and value choice during the three stages--choosing,practicing and leaving the special post teacher influenced by individual self and the external environmental factors:Firstly,basing on what kind of self-awareness and value choice to become a special post teacher in rural areas; Secondly,facing the gap between ideal and reality, hard living and working environment,as special post teachers how they adjust their own thinking and work; and finally, three years expires, facing the reality-- family, work issues,how they choose and what to do.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part puts forward the research questions and value,reviews the existing literature review, and makes statements on the core concepts, theoretical foundation,and introduce research methods;The second part chooses a typical case from the special post teachers to focus on analysis completely--idea in self-positioning and value choice during the three stages--choosing,practicing and leaving the special post teacher influenced by individual self and the external environmental factors;The third part plumps the second part.Through detailed analysis of five special post teachers,how self-positioning and value choice are with the effected from self-interaction and environmental factors during the three stages,and how to cross-checked;The fourth part is the conclusion of the discussion.First,we admit certainly the special post teachers’great contribution to the rural education;then do the comparison between research findings and the theoretical basis of this study, between findings of this study and other researchers, analysis family and economic factors in the role of selection in self-positioning and value for special post teachers; and do some practical recommendations fo facilitate rural education and special post teachers; The fifth part summarize the whole process of this research, analyze and reflect on the difficulties and future endeavors of the all essay.The ultimate of the research is that not only provide guide for special teachers in their career developing process,but also do some reference for rural school administrators,government managers who take charge of’the special post teacher plan’,or support material to the policy further.
