With the development of urban-rural integration and massive rural population entering into the city, a series of problems appear in the process of this integration. The education of the children of the rural population arouses high attention in the society. As a researcher engaged in the ideological and political education of middle school, I particularly noticed a phenomenon that a special group in the urban middle school, the students graduating from the rural primary school, was not adapted to the learning environment in the city. This particular phenomenon was surveyed and investigated discreetly in this paper. The reason why massive graduates of the rural primary school entering into the urban middle school for further education was analyzed in the first place, boiling down to four aspects. Firstly, the constant improvements in policies of children of migrant population provide favorable conditions for rural pupils’ entrance into the urban middle school. Secondly, the configuration modes of teaching resources centralize to the city in steps. Thirdly, the boarding management form in the middle school offers advantages to migrant population taking care of their kids. Fourthly, a material guarantee is highly available for children education after a long time struggle and accumulation by their parents in the city. Given the impact factors discussed above, migrant workers are willing to bring their kids to the city for a better education, forming the phenomenon that the accompanying children of rural workers enter into urban middle school for further study. Since certain economic accumulation is necessary when migrant rural workers take their kids to the city, the children mostly follow the regulation that they spend their primary school times in rural while move to city for further education. Thus, rural pupils’ entrance into the urban middle school becomes a common phenomenon. The inadaptation in children of rural migrant population entering into the urban middle school chiefly reflects in the following sides: first, they cannot communicate with their teachers and classmates very well due to their non-standard Madarin; second, the rules and regulations in the school do not seem to be adaptable for them; third, a great pressure gains on them when they have to confront a increasing number of subjects; fourth, they are usually overwhelmed by varities of extracurricular activities; fifth, they often feel lonely after entering into the urban middle school. In light of the problems listed above, we further study the influences of these problems on their study, mind and ideological conduct. The reason why the graduates of the rural primary school are inadaptable to the urban school life needs to be found out if we want to access the solution to this problem. The conclusions were drawn in the third part of this paper after a careful analyzation concerining the problems the graduates of the rural primary school encounter after entering into the urban middle school, listed as followed: firstly, changes in the life and studying environment; secondly, short of favorable educational resources in the rural primary school; thirdly, discrimination shown by some local students; fourthly, lacking in good educational environment.Based on the existing investigation status combined with our own understanding, the suggestive solutions to the adaptation problem of rural pupils’ entrance into the urban middle school were displayed in the last part of this paper: first of all, the teaching resources should be distributed reasonably, narrowing the gap between rural and urban; besides, build a harmony environment in schools to boost the urbanism of rural students; furthermore, measures should be taken to improve the family education environment of students coming from rural; lastly, create a favorable educational environment of the community for children of the migrant population, enhancing their sense of belongings to the urban society. The problems rural pupils meet when they are admitted to the urban middle school are merely a branch in the urbanism of rural residents. According to the investigation and analyzation of this bifurcation issue, we hope to find solutions to the problems in rural pupils’ entrance into the urban middle school, further leading to the successful resolvement of the contradictions in their integration into the city.
