| The activity-guiding teaching model for junior middle school Chinese refers to a relatively stable and standard procedure, in which teachers make use of activities to instruct students to learn by self-learning, cooperation and inquiry, thus achieving the teaching goals of Junior Chinese. Based on constant summary and improvement, the activity-guiding teaching model has become one of the teaching models with local characteristics created by Rugao Bureau of Education. Its basic operating procedures are:to create a specific environment â†'to implement activities â†' to test and get feedback. The framework of activity lists includes:subjects, learning goals, activities designing, testing and feedback.Great changes have taken place in learning and teaching since we implemented the teaching model, such as, increasing teaching efficiency, promoting education benefits, upgrading teachers and students’ happiness index, and resulting in campus harmony. But if we cannot understand its essence, the following problems will arise: turning activity lists into exercise lists; leading to pseudo-cooperation or ineffective cooperation; bringing about untrustworthy classes or indulgent classes; smothering the teachers’ teaching style, resulting in rigid teaching "stereotyped" and making our education ecology lose its healthy diversity.In the author’s opinion, the model will also need further exploration:How to pay attention to teachers’ continuous education; How to enhance the effectiveness of the collective preparation of instruction; How to create more high-quality activity lists; How to strengthen secondary preparation and bring out teachers’ teaching personality; How to build diverse classes; How to strengthen team construction and cultivate the abilities of students’listening and respecting.
