With the continuous development of quality education, the traditional single teachingmethod has been difficult to meet the current needs of teaching, teachers are trying to seek moreeffective teaching methods teaching. Based on this, the software production of biologicalstructure and physiology to understand the abstract, the actual process of teaching by usingthree-dimensional animation, through the improvement of the research to explore theapplication of3D model and animation in teaching.The research object of this thesis is the high school biology knowledge in heavy, difficult--the PEP compulsory two of the fourth chapter "gene expression", this chapter is mainly abouthow genetic material is expressed as a process of biological traits, is a dynamic process, theabstract, the three dimensional animation made model, RNA software DNA the model andprocess of genetic transcription and translation, using the3D model and animation to "geneexpression" in the teaching design,3D model and animation teaching, can focus the attention ofstudents, stimulate students’ interest in learning, improve teaching effect.The choice of the method of literature, questionnaire and experimental method of threekinds of methods, the research background, current situation and theoretical basis, the authorcarry out scientific teaching feedback and results analysis of the direction. On the educationalcommunication theory, cognitive load theory and the "Tower of experience" theory as thetheoretical basis, through the interpretation of the core content of the three theories, the designprinciples of3D model and animation and "gene expression" teaching design principles, and thepreparation of the course teaching design and making this a "gene expression" the content of the3D model and animation, for middle school teachers for reference.The "gene expression" teaching design is applied to the actual teaching, through thequestionnaire and the students’ evaluation of Teaching Effectiveness Scale to obtain thefeedback information, SPSS test, the test results the conclusion is: the control class using3Dmodel and animation to assist the teaching of the experimental class performed better than the conventional teaching, and formed a significant the difference, verify the application of3Dmodel and animation in the "gene expression" teaching design is successful and effective.Finally, get the guidance and feedback information to teachers and students, and make themodification and improvement of3D animation for teaching and learning and teaching design.
