It is difficult to achieve the purpose of the vivid effect and to make students to understandand grasp with traditional teaching methods to explain some abstract junior high school biology.In contrast,3D model and animation assisted instruction can enhance intutition and vivid andstimulate interest of students in learning. Therefore, more and more teachers in the junior highschool emphasis on the application of3D model and animation in the classroom. However,3Dmodel and animation both in quantity and in quality can not meet needs of teachers because of inthe development stage of theoretical research of3D model and animation. In this thesis,theauthor designed3D models and animations corresponding to junior high school biology.To promote the devedopment of manufacturing3D biology model and animation, this paperproposes the biology curriculum standards, some theoretical research, the operability principlesand process of manufacturing3D model and animation and manufacures some representative3Dmodels and animations to apply in the classroom.This thesis can be divided into seven parts. The first part is introduction, which mainlycontains defining the concepts of the research and reasons why to choose the topic.The secondpart is the reseach purpose,research ideas and methods.It describes the specific research goal andthe research train of thought in detail.This paper uses the literature research and interviewmethods to research.The third part is the design and manufcure basis containing instructiondesign and3D model and animation.It explores the the theory basis of instruction design,fromconstructivist theory, communication theory and cognitive load theory.In addition, this paperwas conducted in the field of biology for junior high school,therefore the designs should considercognitive characteristics of the students,ideas of the biology curriculum standard;it explores thethe theory basis of manufacturing3D model and animation,analyise the impact on teaching andsummarize the operability principles and processes of manufacturing3D model andanimation,from multimedia cognitive theory and the audio-visual educational theories.The forthpart is methods and procedures of manufacturing3D models and animations.According to sometheories, the operability principles and processes of manufacturing3D modesl and animations,the author manufactures3D modesl and animations with assisted teaching of Body ofMaterial Transport with Corel Motion Studio3D and describes methods and procedures ofmanufacturing3D models and animations with simple and clear words and graphs.The fifth partis the application of3D model and animation in the instruction design of Body of MaterialTransport.Based on some theories, the students’ cognitive characteristics, the biology curriculumstandards and teaching materials,the author designs instruction designs about Body of MaterialTransport and fully describes reasons and advantages.The sixth part is the teaching effectevalution of3D model and animation. The seventh part is the summary and outlook, includes theprieliminary conclusions, the innovation and inadequacies of this paper and suggestions.Through a series of research, the author draws the following conclusion:3D models andanimations based on some theoretical research, can promote teaching effect.
