The educational game’s main idea is teaching through lively activities. The pleasant learning environment which is called learning with fun and having fun with learning made by educational game can motivate and maintain students’learning motivation preferably. So it is favored by domestic and foreign researchers and has gotten a rapid development. The production of education games needs streams of technologies such as texts, music, pictures and videos. Education games made by many technologies is a better teaching media which can show the teaching content because it can reduce the pressure students met and promote the friendship between the students.The flipped classroom is a rising model of teaching that let students learn before class by themselves and it has become a much-talked-about topic in education at home and abroad. The flipped classroom’s core point is flipping the traditional classroom teaching process to hit the mark of learning knowledge. The detailed process is students teach themselves before class by the videos and courseware provided by teachers. And then, they discuss the problems they met in their self-study between students and teacher in the class. At present, the primary learning materials of flipped classroom is teaching videos. But it does not have higher appeal and cannot present much teaching content. However, if you want to flip classroom successfully, the necessary condition is students must have learned and mastered a certain amount of elementary knowledge.The study combined the flipped classroom and educational game to bring the features and advantages that they have into full play by collecting and analyzing some related articles and documents. And the study designed a formal methods model for design and development the educational game which is based on the flipped classroom and system theory. And then we designed a case called Save Computer based on the course of Basics of Computer Applications. Finally, we put the case into use in real flipped classroom to collect the correlated data by questionnaire and check the actual effect for the purpose of proving the effectiveness of design and development the educational game which is based on the flipped classroom. Also, we updated the formal methods model according to the students’opinion and the real teaching effect to make sure for the using of next educational flipped classroom.
