In the traditional classroom,teachers are the center who talk all the time and attach more importance to students’ school records rather than their studying process,while students are the passive learners who show less interest in the class participation,causing a serious and dull atmosphere.Obviously,the traditional teaching cannot meet the new requirements in the new curriculum reform based on the goals that are students-centered to promote the development of students’ personality.Thus,a new classroom teaching is essential and the flipped classroom has come right into being.The flipped classroom aims to change the traditional teaching process,teaching time,and teaching space as well as the roles of teachers and students,and advocates students as the main body in line with the concept of the new curriculum classroom.But the flipped classroom tend to improve students’ learning initiative and achievement,with less fun and learning atmosphere.Having the unique interest and challenge,the game teaching can improve the classroom atmosphere and promote the students to focus their attention,which is beneficial to the development of students’ personality.In my opinion,possessing the same goals,the flipped classroom teaching can be combined with the game teaching as a new form teaching model,in which the advantages of the flipped classroom teaching can be fully made use of and with the help of the game teaching students can study in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.This study mainly focuses on the concept of game teaching in the flipped classroom,and the design and study of the biology teaching through Games in the Flipped Classroom in high school.In the design of the flipped classroom teaching,I present the following four parts: the preparation of the teaching,students’ pre-class learning,the design of classroom activities,and feedback evaluation after class.During the research,I complete it with four months.Two parallel classes in the same grade are chosen as the subjects,in which one class-the control class uses the traditional teaching while the other-the experimental class works as the flipped classroom with the help of game teaching.Compared with the results of the entrance examination(the pre-test data)and the final test(the posttest data),the research data are analyzed by SPSS.Besides,according to the data of the questionnaire,the effectiveness of the game teaching is analyzed,too.The results are as follows: First,the comparison of the difference between the control class and the experimental class after the test: the test scores of the control class were divided into 67.71,and the scores of the experimental class were equal to 75.24,and there was significant difference.Independent samples T test results showed that: T=-2.856,P=0.005 is less than 0.05 and less than 0.01 of the control,that there were very significant differences between the average number of the whole class and the experimental class after the test results,the experimental class test scores than the control class is obviously improved.Second,the difference of pre-test and post test scores of the experimental class: the pre-test scores of the experimental class were equal to 67.41,and the scores of the experimental class were equal to 75.24,there was significant difference.Independent samples T test results showed that: T=-3.099,P=0.003 is less than 0.05 and less than 0.01,indicating the existence of significant differences between the average number of experimental class whole pre-test and post test,the application of this model compared the pretest scores also significantly improved.Third,87.35% of the students think that this kind of teaching method promotes the interaction between teachers and students.94.25% of the students believe that this model is conducive to better grasp the knowledge points,deepen the memory of knowledge points.90.81% of the students think that this kind of teaching mode can improve the classroom atmosphere and optimize the classroom effect.87.4% of the students believe that this model improves the enthusiasm of learning biology curriculum,and promote the participation of classroom activities.52.8% of the students think it is very helpful to improve their creativity.82.76% of the students like the teaching model and want to spread it widely.Although the flipped classroom teaching with the help the game teaching in the experimental class has achieved a lot,there are still some shortcomings in the process of practice.The author analyzes these shortcomings and put forward some corresponding suggestions.It is hoped that the research in this paper can provide a meaningful theoretical basis and practical reference for the teaching of biology in high schools in China.
