The flipped class is a new teaching mode,which is becoming more and more popular in recent years under the catalysis of information network.Specifically,the flipped class is a kind of teaching mode in which students learn before class and complete tasks under the guidance of the teacher.This form of learning is conducive to the formation and development of students' cognition.In this paper,the development and characteristics of the flipped class are reviewed in detail,and the advantages and disadvantages,usability and challenges of the flipped class are also discussed.We also track the flipped class model,and make theoretical summary and Experimental Research on the basis of constructivism teaching design theory.The educational game is a kind of electronic game with educational function.Its essence is the content of knowledge,and form is the way of playing.Educators can use educational games to assist education,and students can complete learning through playing educational games.Thus,educational game is a learning product.As an educational product,its design needs to be scientific,educational and entertaining.In this paper,we make a theoretical analysis and summary of the experience of heart flow in the game,summarize the elements that attract players to complete the task in the game,and infiltrate it into the design of the educational game "garbage search and classification".In the current the flipped class research,video learning before class and homework tasks in class are usually used,which is also a more traditional and classic the flipped class model.In this study,educational games are replaced by pre-class videos to form a flipped classroom form of pre-class game learning and homework tasks in class.At the same time,we designed a control experiment on these two kinds of the flipped class forms to analyze whether the integration of educational games into the flipped class will significantly improve the learning effect of students.The first part of this paper is the introduction,which describes the current environment and needs of flipped classroom and educational games.The second chapter is literature review,which mainly analyzes the historical origin and relevant characteristics of flipped classroom and educational games,and makes a review of the relevant theories.The third chapter is the design case.In this chapter,we combine the game design theory and the teaching system design theory from the perspective of flipped classroom to construct a complete theoretical framework of educational game design and provide a complete game design case.We hope this could provide theoretical guidance and reference for the design and development of educational games in the future,so as to avoid the neglect of educational game designers.The fourth chapter is the application experiment design,which mainly shows the experimental methods and process of the research.In this chapter,we describe the experimental preparation and process of flipped classroom in detail.The fifth chapter is the data analysis results of the experiment.After sorting out and analyzing the experimental data collected in the quasi experimental research,including empirical data and interview data,we have a deep understanding of the learning effect and students'psychology,and found the potential and problems of the educational games based on the flipped classroom.The sixth chapter summarizes the whole research,and puts forward the shortcomings of the research and prospects for the future.
