The world economic development experience shows that the economic development, especially the development of the industrial economy, is bound to bring the change of the structure of education. The transformation and development of the independent college development is complied with the local economic and social development needs. In2014, the state put forward "to guide a group of ordinary undergraduate colleges converted to university of applied technology".As a new mode of higher education, it is necessary to explore its school-running mode. Due to the historical and practical reasons, there are a lot of problems. In view of the current problems of transformation and development in independent colleges, the main problem is the problem of teachers. The particularity of the independent colleges also determines the importance of the construction of the teachers, and as a sense of urgency. Compared with the teachers who acquired training in the exam-oriented education system, what is the difference and what measures should be taken to solve the gap is the most important problem that the paper should be solve.The investigative core of this paper is "the construction of teacher’s team". This paper adopts the way of literature research and questionnaire investigation. I survey the construction of a new local university’s teacher’s team in Yunnan province. I analyze the development and actuality of the construction of the new local universities’ teacher’s team from these two aspects of the general aspect and the special aspect. I analyze the existent problems of the construction of the new local universities’teacher’s team at the same time. At last, I put forward the suggestion for the construction of the new local universities’teacher’s team from the government, the school and the individual teacher.The conclusions of the thesis is as follows:1.the structure of teachers’age is not reasonable.2.the education level is low.3.the characteristic of the professional disciplines structure is not obvious.4.the teacher lack of the applied theory5.the teacher lack of the practical experience.6.the applied teacher is less than.Based on the experience of the faculty development in applied colleges, this thesis puts forward countermeasures to promote the development of the faculty in Independent colleges on the deep reform of national policy, college development and The construction of teacher’s team.
