With the rapid development of economic and social support, population aging is becoming increasingly prominent. Large aged population aging exhibits unique features. From the current actual situation, the aged retire from the intense work. Then they meet new environment and new conflicts. That people who have the status, rights and working conditions suite to lose what they have. There is confusion and anxiety for certain social phenomena, as well as the rapidly changing environment generates nostalgia and emotional regression. Faced with this situation, encouraging older people to get educate, not only for the elderly vigorously address the aging of great significance, but also meet the needs of the aged population spiritual and cultural needs. Elderly education through educational activities aims to enable the elderly to master the knowledge and skills, extend their expertise and interests. But now there are still a lot of old-age education problems, such as education management system is unknown, educational theory scattered single form of education, educational development is not balanced, unequal access to education, school coverage is low, and so on. Therefore, this article under the background of China’s aging population aims to meet the needs of older persons as a breakthrough to improve the elderly life satisfaction. This paper uses the measures of literature, questionnaire, individual interviews and the statistical method. Take 330 of them as the investigation objects. According to the current situation and life satisfaction of the educational needs of the elderly status quo full investigation and analysis to explore the impact of the educational needs of the elderly life satisfaction, and strive to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for our positive response to population aging, improve education for the aged, to provide reference for improving life satisfaction of the elderly population.It draws the following conclusions:Firstly, the educational needs of the elderly in general are on the middle level. Secondly, the aged life satisfaction is in the middle level. Thirdly, the educational needs of the elderly in terms of gender, age, education level by the presence of significant differences. Fourthly, life satisfaction of the elderly has significant differences in terms of gender, and other personal background variables significant difference does not exist. Lastly, "the health care", "leisure", "recreation", "family and interpersonal educational needs" impact on life satisfaction significantly. Other educational needs are not significant.Based on literature, research findings, interviews and fieldwork aspects, this article will put up several advices from the five aspects, such as elderly educational system, build system, faculty, curriculum and the elderly themselves. The following suggestions for conducting reference elderly education:Firstly, rich the research of the elderly education, construct the elderly education theory system. Secondly, establish the aging education systems, standardize the management of elderly education. Thirdly, strengthen the elderly education teachers, foster elderly education professionals. Fourthly, optimize the curriculum, innovative education form. Lastly, the elderly change their thoughts, learn self-regulation. By presenting these measures, make it from theory to practice and achieve the ultimate goal of improving life satisfaction of the elderly. It provides feasibility path.The last part of this article has a profound reflection and the subsequent formation of research expectations. There still exist problems in this paper about elaborate data and information to some extent. Analyzing the shortcomings and limitations, it hopes to solve these issues from the follow-up study in terms of research ideas, methods, and goals.
